Letters Bookshop is located in downtown Durham. They are an independent bookstore that sells both used and new books.
They also have a cool new monthly book subscription, so you get one new book and one used book per month, which is cool for those who feel like they are fast readers.
The employees I interacted with there were also very polite and helpful. This is a great place if you're looking for both the classics and the newest releases.
Quail Ridge Books is nestled in the North Hills area, outside of Raleigh.
They have a very large variety of books, for anyone in the family. From history, to religion, to romance, to self-help, they have it all.
Their upstairs balcony is so cute and allows you to see the entire store from a bird's eye view.
This was a fun little day visit for me, and I'm glad I went. It's also surrounded by a bunch of cute shops, if you dare to splurge...
The Regulator is tucked in the older part of downtown Durham, next to Duke Campus. This place is so cute and cozy.
I really enjoyed the diversity in the types of work they have available. It gives off old shop and newsstand vibes, but still has very new books and pieces.
The area also has so many little restaurants nearby.
