The Green Room is located on the outskirts of downtown Durham. This is a bar and poolhall that gives retro-oldie's vibes.
They have almost a dozen pool tables, shuffleboard, and darts. They also have quite a few vairetyies of beers, along with a few ciders.
This was a perfect chill night for me and some friends. The guys working were so nice and super chill. For anyone who wants to have a laid-back night, check this place out.
Originating in Ashville, Hi-Wire Brewing has almost 10 locations, with more to come. The location we visited was in Durham.
What's great about this place is that you can come here with a large group. There's also food nearby WITH DELIVERY! Be sure to grab some pizza or some ice cream from the other restaurants in the quad if you go to Hi-Wire for trivia night.
This is a great place for some chatting, games, and larger groups of friends and family.
Located in downtown Durham, Pour is great for those who like taste testing. My friends and I have visited this taproom a few times, and I can say it did not disappoint.
When you enter, they check your ID and get payment, then give you a wristband. This band allows you to use any of the taps they have in house. When you pay by the ounce, you are free to try different beers, ciders, and wine at your liesure.
What's nice about this place is that it doesn't force you to get drinks you hate. I'm very particular about my drinks, so this place is perfect for someone who is afraid of branching out because they're worried they'll hate their drink.
